The third series of Sky 1 HD's hit talent show Got To Dance will begin on New Year's Day, it has been confirmed.
Presenter Davina McCall will scour the country to find the most talented dancers, crews and troupes of any age and style, who will push themselves to their limits in an attempt to win a whopping £250,000 cash prize.
They will perform in front of three outspoken, world-class judges: West End star and actor Adam Garcia, trained dancer and former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, and Diversity's lead dancer and choreographer Ashley Banjo.
There will be eight audition shows, which were filmed in Dublin, Glasgow and London, before the judges whittle down the shortlist to 30 acts, who will compete in five live shows. The final will again take place at the Kensington Olympia, in front of an audience of 6,000.
Davina said: "I am literally beside myself with excitement at the return of our third series of Got To Dance. I love working with gorgeous Adam, lovely Kimberly and of course sweetheart Ashley! Just you wait until you see the auditions – this year the bar has been raised even higher with so many acts worthy of a quarter of a million."
Got To Dance series three launches on Sunday 1st January 2012 at 6.00pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD, with the second auditions show following the next day, also at 6pm.
