The final of Sky One's reality dancing show Got to Dance saw a respectable audience of 1.2 million people tune into the results show, which saw duo Chris and Wes crowned as this year's winners. The climax of the show dented Dancing On Ice over on ITV1, which dipped below 8 million for the first time this series.
7.93 million viewers tuned into Sunday's performance show, while 6.42 million returned for the results an hour later. The decline makes it the first episode in the present series not to be up on last year's run of the format.
The big audience for Sky 1 meanwhile marks an increase of Got to Dance's audience from series 1 to 2, with over 100,000 more viewers watching the results show. The format, which is due to launch in the states this year, is expected to return in 2012 for a third series on Sky.
Away from the digital channels and newly relaunched Channel Five logged an impressive 2.29 million viewers for its movie premiere of Will Smith feature film Hancock, only denting Dancing On Ice's results show further.
Meanwhile ITV1's final of The Biggest Loser saw its biggest audience yet with 4.68 million tuning in yesterday (Monday) night.
