Got To Dance 2014 kicks off tonight on Sky One and Sky One HD for its fifth series.
Dance fever is set to sweep the nation once again as Britain's best talent show begins.
Not only does the new series welcome return of a familiar face but a nifty format change.
Remember series original Adam Garcia? Well, the tap-dancing Aussie heartthrob has put his judging hat back on to rejoin favourites Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Banjo on – no question – TV’s best-looking talent show panel.
And the trio won’t just be flashing their stars. They’ll get the chance to play mentor and assemble and lead their own teams of dancers, too.
Auditions go ahead as normal, but, during the shortlisting process, Adam, Kimberly and Ashley must select six acts each to go through to the live shows.
For the first time in Got to Dance’s history, these will be stripped across a single week at the end of the month.
Davina McCall of course resumes hosting duties and, in this double bill opener, keeps us posted about the start of the auditions, now taking place at The Roundhouse in Camden.
Expect the usual mix of the silly and spectacular as hopefuls try to overcome the first stumbling block to their dreams of joining 2013 champ Lukas McFarlane in the Got to Dance hall of fame.
The £250,000 jackpot isn’t to be sniffed at, either.
Got To Dance airs tonight (Saturday) at 8PM on Sky One and Sky One HD and continues TOMORROW (Sunday) at the same time and place.
