Geordie Shore cast, newbies and start time confirmed for season 16

Geordie Shore 2018 is here and from the cast to the start time tonight, here’s all you need to know about season 16.

Geordie Shore Series 16 starts tonight at 10PM, January 9 and MTV have confirmed the official cast line up.

As well as a number of familiar faces making their return are some newbies, some of which you may have seen on the telly before.

Those remaining on the Geordie Shore cast for series 16 are: Aaron Chalmers, Chloe Ferry, Nathan Henry, Abbie Holborn, Stephanie Snowdon, Sophie Kasaei, Marnie Simpson and Scotty T.

Joining the cast for the new season is Love Island’s Sam Gowland.

Sam said the MTV show was “more my scene” following his stint in Love Island last summer, where he failed to find love. He’s since hooked up with Chloe on Geordie Shore.

He explained: “When I got the opportunity I thought ‘yeah it’s more my scene’ – going out. It’s paid off. It’s been one of the best things I’ve done and I’ve obviously come off and now I’m seeing a girl as well.

“They’re two different scenes. With Love Island it’s only a couple of drinks a night, where Geordie is more my scene.”

Also popping up will be Marnie’s boyfriend, Casey Johnson.

“He came in for an appearance in the new series, but it was a bit awkward – all our mams were there,” she explained. “It was a bit of a cray-cray night!

“I invited all the mams round for a night out, it was hilarious. I’m hoping if I go back into the next series he’ll make a longer appearance.”

As always expect plenty of drama with spoilers suggesting a massive fight, as well as the usual snogging, partying and getting absolutely mortal.
