Axed Dancing On Ice contestant Jennifer Ellison is backing Matthew Wolfenden to win the show this Sunday, but insisted that any of the finalists could triumph on the night.
Jennifer narrowly missed out on a place in the final on Sunday after being eliminated in the skate off against Jorgie Porter, but didn’t' seem too disheartened about the experience.
She revealed: "Now I'm being stopped by women in the street saying, 'Go on girl, good on you,' and it's lovely."
The former Brookside star added: "I hadn't been kept in by the judges, it's the public that kept me there and I'm so grateful to them for getting me through to the semi-finals. It's lovely to see that people actually like me."
Asked who she's backing to win the series at the weekend, Jennifer explained: "Technically Matt should win because he's the best skater but the other two could easily have it."
Meanwhile, the actress revealed she was hoping to land a part in the Spice Girls musical Viva Forever when it opens in the West End later this year.
Jen told The Sun: "I would love to be a part of it. I could play Baby, I've got the boobs for Geri and the hair for Mel B as well.
"I'll tell you what, I'll play a different one each night!"
The Dancing On Ice 2012 final airs on Sunday night on ITV1.
