Dancing On Ice star Matthew Wolfenden has been struggling in the run up to Props Week on Sunday night, whipping himself in the crotch!
Dancing On Ice coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have created a tough routine for the Emmderdale hunk, which includes a circus podium, a hoop, a perspex podium and a glass bottle!
Favourite Matthew, who last week scored a series high of 28.5 points from the judges, will be playing the role of a lion-tamer.
"Matthew loved getting into character as a lion tamer and really cracking the whip," a source told The Sun today. "But the whip's quite long and he accidentally caught himself between the legs.
"It would have been all right if it had just happened once, but after three times he was in serious pain.
"It's really knocked his confidence and he's very embarrassed."
The source added: "This week is really hard. We've had props week in the past, but usually each celeb would just have one. Five is a real step up as so much can go wrong."
Dancing On Ice 2012 continues on Sunday night on ITV1.
