Dancing On Ice 2012 contestant Jennifer Ellison has thanked her fans in Liverpool for keeping her in the competition.
The scouse soap star, who used to play Emily Shadwick in Brookside, also revealed how pleased she was having been able to spend more time with her song in recent weeks.
"It’s not all been work, work, work I’ve also managed to have a bit of family time and went out to the park with [my husband] Robbie and our two-year-old son Bobby," Jennifer told the Liverpool Echo this week.
She continued: "We had a great time and Bobby was riding his bike and he flew his kite. It was great to spend some quality time with the family."
Jennifer last night skated her way into the final five alongside Chemmy Alcott, Chico, Matthew Wolfenden and Jorgie Porter, and thanked her fans n Liverpool for saving her from the skate off.
“Every week I say the same thing to you all in Liverpool – thank you so much for voting for me,” Jen told the newspaper.
She added: “I know I’m repeating myself but I mean it from the heart and I know your support is what’s been keeping me in.
“I’m really loving my skating now and want to stay so if I could trouble you for a few more votes on Sunday I’d really appreciate it.”
