Hunky Dancing On Ice favourite Matthew Wolfenden has said he was "respect" for rival Jorgie Porter, and insisted that the female skaters don't have it any easier than the guys.
He explains to this week's TV Buzz: “I’ve got the utmost respect for Jorgie...People think it’s harder for the boys because you’ve got to do lifts, but I’d much rather be doing lifts than be up in the air like Jorgie when she’s spun around above [pro dancer] Matt Evers’ head.”
Matthew also admits to the magazine, out today with The Sun: “I’ve loved all my Dancing On Ice costumes, even if I did get a bit of stick about the leather outfit I wore the first week.”
The Emmerdale star also reveals that fiancée Charley is right behind him, even if she can’t stand being on the ice herself!
He says: “Charley’s great – she comes down every Sunday to support me, then drives back on three hours sleep.
“But she’s definitely not up for doing the show herself, even though I’ve tried to persuade her.”
Dancing On Ice continues tomorrow night on ITV1.
