Dancing On Ice coaches Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill have revealed that the celebrities are "bruised and hurting" in the run up to this Sunday's Rock week.
Speaking on This Morning yesterday, the skating legends teased this weekend's new routines.
Dean explained: "They are bruised and hurting - just the way that they should be.
"I think the frog lift might be coming back from Sam [Nixon] - he hurt his knee from it so we took it out last week but he has come back and said, 'I want to do this', so it's back in this week, fingers crossed."
The pair also insisted that the competition was wide open, despite bookies making Jorgie Porter the odds-on favourite.
"I think whoever is there in the last three can win it," said Dean, while Torvill raved above Chico: "He just keeps getting better and better and he's doing some big lifts this week."
But Dean revealed that Jorgie would be again stepping it up this week, with a more dangerous version of the head banger move.
He explained: "The next level [of her doing the head banger] is for her to do it from the skate and land back on the skates."
Dancing On Ice 2012 returns on Sundya night on ITV1, with a special performance from the cast of West End musical The Rock Of Ages.
