Dancing On Ice 2012: Jennifer Ellison suffers 'confidence crisis' after injury

Jennifer Ellison (Dancing On Ice)

Jennifer Ellison broke down in tears whilst training for Dancing On Ice this week after her confidence was left shattered from last Sunday's head injury.

The Liverpudlian star cut her head with her own skate whilst performing a Scorpion kick on the live show, leaving her hair soaked in blood.

But while the injury was ultimately rather minor, Jennifer has been suffering a ‘confidence crisis' this week, the Daily Mirror reports today.

The 28-year-old, partnered with skating pro Dan Whiston, has been struggling to learn her routine for Sunday night.

A show insider told the tabloid: “Although she went on with the show, what happened really hit home.

“Naturally it hit her confidence at the start of the week but the worry is it’s still a big problem now.

“She has a crisis of confidence and couldn’t stop crying. She just can’t seem to get the moves right and is really worried that she will be going home after this Sunday’s show.”

Dancing On Ice 2012 continues this Sunday on ITV1 at 6.05pm.
