Dancing On Ice contestant Rosemary Conley has admitted that taking part in the show is a dream come true, having been rejected by producers in the past.
In an interview with the Daily Mirror, the fitness guru revealed how she had been trying for years to get onto the series.
"I said I wanted to fly the flag for the over-60s," she told the newspaper. "This time they said yes. I must have worn them down. I just about hit the ceiling with excitement when the producer called to tell me I was in the show.
"I rushed round the house kissing everyone, my husband, even our dogs."
She added: "I'm feeling positive about my performance. I'm having the time of my life and totally loving every second.
"I do get frustrated when I get nervous and make the odd wrong move but I'm learning something new every day.
"I love the costumes, the make-up - all the glitz and glamour. I don't think any woman ever loses the desire to be a princess. When you get to 65, it's a bonus."
And Rosemary also explained how the show has made her feel like a 30-year-old again!
"My bum and legs are the most toned they've ever been," she todl the tabloid. "I'm in the best shape of my life. My husband's loving it."
