Dancing On Ice 2012 'strongest yet', says head judge Robin Cousins

Dancing On Ice 2012 head judge Robin Cousins has said that this year's show is one of the "strongest yet" in terms of skating quality.

Speaking after Sunday night's latest episode, which saw Corey Feldman eliminated, Robin heaped praise on the remaining skaters.

The weekend's show saw the twelve celebs battle it out head to head with one another in duels, with the judges saving one star from each pair from the public.

“The most impressive duel was obviously between Jorgie and Matt," Robin said, before explaining his decision for saving Matt: "[He] was the one who came through, not only as a skater, but doing very difficult lifts and element for element it was quite a bit more difficult than that of Jorgie and Matt.”

Robin also raved about Sebastien Foucan insisting “his spin was terrific.”

He added: “Collectively, this show is probably one of the, if not thee, strongest we’ve ever had.”

Dancing On Ice 2012 continues this Sunday night on ITV1 with a performance from One Direction.
