Dancing On Ice 2012: Jason Gardiner and Emma Bunton axed in favour of Louie Spence?

Dancing On Ice

Jason Gardiner and Emma Bunton could both be axed from Dancing On Ice in a huge shake up of the show, it has been claimed. According to The Sun, the programme's producers are looking to hire Louie Spence to join the panel in a bid to refresh the format.

Host Holly Willoughby has already left the series to front new BBC One talent show The Voice.

"This year's judging line-up is being taken to the wire," a source said. "Producers want to refresh things and Jason and Emma look the most vulnerable.

"The show has been running for several years and like all ITV shows they are overhauled occasionally to keep viewers interested."

Speaking to The Sun, the insider said of Emma, who joined the show in 2010: "She is still talking to them but she hasn't had an offer. Emma has other things in the pipeline anyway."

A spokesperson however downplayed the speculation, insisting nothing had been confirmed: "We have not yet announced the judging panel for the 2012 series."
