James Jordan is being tipped to join the Dancing On Ice panel.

It follows Jason Gardiner announcing he was quitting the show after ten series.

Former Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer James won the latest series of Dancing On Ice back in March of this year.

He’s now been rumoured as a possible replacement for Jason on the panel alongside Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo.

As yet ITV have not confirmed who, if anyone, will replace Jason on the panel.

Speaking in a video posted on Instagram last week, Jason revealed his decision not to return to Dancing On Ice in the new year.

“I know there’s been a lot of speculation about me and the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice, and I wanted to set the record straight,” he explained.

“After all these years, I feel it’s time for me to say goodbye to my judging role. Instead, I’d like to return to things that I’ve kind of put on the back burner for a while.

“To all of my DOI fans, I really thank you for all your support and encouragement over the years. I really am so grateful that you got my unique judging style and honesty.”

Jason said he “absolutely loved” sitting alongside fellow judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo.

He also praised hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, and the professional dancers and coaches – “including Karen Barber”, with whom he once had a bitter feud.

Dancing On Ice will return to ITV in early 2020.

Already a number of names have been rumoured for the line up.

It was reported earlier this month that Amber Gill is set to become the latest Love Island star to compete in the ice dancing competition, following Wes Nelson and Kem Cetinay.

According to The Sun, she’ll begin training later this year ahead of the show’s return to TV in the new year.

Also rumoured for the new Dancing On Ice line up is TOWIE’s James ‘Arg’ Argent.

The reality star is set to follow in the footsteps of his on/off girlfriend Gemma Collins, who competed in the latest series.
