Antony Cotton has confessed he's worried about facing Jason Gardiner on Dancing On Ice 2018.
The Corrie star is one of twelve celebrities taking part in the new series, which begins on Sunday night.
Dancing On Ice returns after four years off air and back along with the show is famously no-nonsense judge Jason Gardiner.
Ahead of his first live performance, Antony admitted: "I don’t take criticism well, not in any way, shape or form."
He explained: "It’s not productive, it’s actually counter productive, and it doesn’t encourage you. Critiquing is slightly different.
"Luckily I’ve known Jason for many years – so we’ll see what happens. I know him, I adore him, but we’ll see what happens."
Discussing his decision to sign up for the "really dangerous" show, Antony said: "The most appealing thing genuinely is that I’m very competitive and that I enjoy a challenge. I’m most looking forward to the learning process; I’m a great believer that you never stop learning. I’m also a real company person.
"I love being part of the Coronation Street family. So hopefully this will be a new tribe of people for me to be part of.
"I know Samia and Sylvain very well, and Samia still skates as it’s part of her set up now – so who knows what will happen."
Joining Antony on the DOI line up is fellow Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent.
Antony said: "I would never be competitive against Brooke as she’s like a little sister to me and I adore her. Everyone else I will be competitive with, but not Brooke.
"I’ll be the opposite with Brooke. I am my father’s son, my dad is the most competitive man. We’ll see what happens, but I am fiercely competitive."
Dancing On Ice returns on Sunday night at 6PM on ITV.
Alongside Jason, Torvill and Dean will both sit on the revamped ice panel together with choreographer extraordinare Ashley Banjo. ITV Racing’s Matt Chapman will commentate.
