Taking to her social networks, Brooke shared snaps of some nasty injuries.

But the Coronation Street actress isn’t letting that stop her taking to the ice, declaring this week she is in it to win it.

“I want to win. I really want to win. I think, why the hell not,” the soap actress said.

Speaking to OK! magazine, the brunette beauty revealed she was racking up a lot of injuries in training sessions.

Brooke explained: “I’ve got some good bruises. I went to a spa the other day and people were looking at me, like, ‘Oh my God!’

“They probably think I’ve had rows with the wall!”

She continued: “I did a double fall and I smacked the ice twice in the same place. But it’s made me a bit more fearless. I’m not as scared about falling now.”

“I’ve whacked my knee, hip and my feet and it really hurts,” Brooke added.

A total of twelve celebs signed up for the new series, the first in four years.

Other Dancing On Ice celebrities on the show this year are Love Island’s Kem Cetinay and TV host and singer Cheryl Baker.

Joining them are Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown, X Factor singer Jake Quickenden, Rugby hunk Max Evans, Cricket hero Monty Panesar and ITV Weatherman Alex Beresford.
