Dancing On Ice originally ran between 2006 and 2014, hosted by Philip Schofield, Holly Willoughby and later Christine Bleakley.

A tenth series is now on its way, ITV has officially announced, with Holly and Philip back as hosts.

Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton, rugby player Max Evans and celebrity psychic Sally Morgan are all set to take to the ice, The Sun newspaper reports.

Reality regular Katie Price, cricketer Ebony Rainford-Brent and Olympian Amber Hill are also on the rumoured Dancing On Ice lineup.

More names are reigning Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown, Loose Women panellist Saira Khan and soap actress Katie McGlynn.

There's also footballer's wife Alex Gerrard, husband of Liverpool and England midfielder Steven Gerrard, radio host Toby Anstis and former butler to Princess Diana, Paul Burrell.

Rounding the 'leaked' DOI line up off are comedian Stephen Bailey and food expert Olly Smith, who regularly appears on This Morning and Saturday Kitchen.

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks stars Stephanie Waring, Sarah Jayne Dunn and Anna Passey, are all reportedly fighting for a place on the cast.

It's understood that up to 50 potential celebrity contestants are being tried out for the show.

Others who have been linked to the series but don't appear on the line up include Love Island contestant Kem Cetinay, England cricketing legend Monty Panesa, Corrie star Brooke Vincent, model Nicola McLean and X Factor's Honey G.

Dancing On Ice judges

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have been confirmed as judges for the new series.

The former coaches will take up a seat on the panel alongside two still to be confirmed names, with former judge Jason Gardiner rumoured for a comeback.

However it's been reported that Karen Barber won't be back.

Meanwhile, former Dancing On Ice pro Sylvain Longchambon has been tipped to takeover Torvill and Dean's role as head coach.

Dancing On Ice start date

We fully expect the brand new series to return to ITV in January 2018.

Previous series have typically launched the first or second Sunday of the new year and that's likely to remain the same.

Of course the precise start date won't be revealed for a while yet.
