Dancing On Ice 2011 judges Jason Gardiner, Emma Bunton and Robin Cousins have revealed their favourite moments of the series, with Laura Hamilton's solo routine on Sunday coming out on top. Former spice girl Emma described Laura's routine to 'These Boots Are Made For Walking' as "incredible" in a chat on This Morning today.
"Laura’s solo dance on Sunday was so incredible because you saw her as a performer, on her own, no partner," Emma told host Phillip Schofield. "It was a scary moment for her and she pulled it all out."
Sam Attwater's Riverdance on ice also proved a popular highlight of the series amongst the judges. Emma explained: "I loved Sam and the Riverdance. I couldn’t quite believe it but for me that was a real turning point."
Jason agreed, adding: "To be honest, I really didn’t think this would work – when they said Riverdance on ice I could think of nothing worse. And then he came out and it was absolutely incredible."
For Robin Cousins however the highlight of the series didn't come in the main show at all, he revealed: "One of my favourite bits was watching Sam and Jeff in the skate off together. I didn’t like the fact that either of them were there but what the skate off has done is that they raise their game and go up against it.
"They had both made silly mistakes that they both were able to fix and that skate off was the best of the series."
Dancing On Ice concludes with the final this Sunday as Sam Attwater, Chloe Madeley and Laura Hamilton battle it out to be crowned 2011 champion.
