Dancing On Ice 2011 contestant Johnson Beharry VC has revealed he doesn't plan on taking advantage of numerous telly offers since being on the show, insisting he's not a celebrity. In an interview with The Sun after his exit on the show during Sunday's semi-final, Johnson made it clear: "I'm a soldier."
"I'm not a celebrity, I'm a soldier," the Iraq war hero told the tabloid. "I've got a stable job in the Army that I love so I won't go outside that."
Talking about the show, he added: "I was happy to get this opportunity to see what I was capable of. I hadn't seen ice - or ice skates - before the show.
"But I would never class myself as a celebrity. I'm Johnson Beharry VC. I would never fit in this world. I do my day job and that's it."
