Jeff Brazier: Dancing On Ice 2011 winner 'too close to call'

Jeff Brazier

Axed Dancing On Ice celebrity Jeff Brazier has claimed that the winner of the 2011 series is too close to call - and could really be any of the four remaining stars! While the telly host tipped one of Laura, Sam and Chloe to be the likely champion this year, Jeff was keen not to rule out a surprise appearance from Johnson in the final.

"I wouldn't like to say who I think will win it but it’s out of Sam, Laura and Chloe," Jeff, 31, explained following his exit last week. "Johnson's done amazingly well to improve at such a rapid rate. He's really lucky that with his partner Jodeyne also came with her husband Sean who was Angela Rippon’s partner, so he gets two professionals to help which is a real bonus, especially as Sean is such a great guy."

Brazier, rumoured to be hosting the new series of The Xtra Factor this year, continued: "I wouldn't like to call it between the girls; both are hitting the high scores, both are improving and I can’t help feeling that if Johnson makes a shock appearance in the final, it will be at the expense of one of them.

"The ‘form’ book tells us that as Chloe has never appeared in the bottom three, there's a great chance she'll make it. But as Laura has more of a background in performance, maybe I'd expect her to put together a better routine?"

Jeff also took the chance to defend pal Sam Attwater, blaming the Eastenders actor's appearance in the bottom two last Sunday on the judging panel. Jeff said: "Sam seems to have gone down in the rankings but I think that has more to do with the judges getting tough on him which in turn influences the public’s perception of how he's really doing."

Jeff will be taking part in the Dancing On Ice tour in place of Vanilla Ice in Birmingham and Manchester.
