Former Dancing On Ice contestant Jeff Brazier put on a brave face on this morning following his exit from the competition, just two weeks before the show's final. Telly presenter Jeff missed out on the semi-finals after judges eliminated him ahead of previous bookies favourite Sam Attwater in last night's skate off.
Speaking today, Jeff admitted: "Obviously it would have been great to be in the semi finals but to have skated in the skate-off the way we did, I feel very proud of that and to go out to Sam Attwater... I knew I was in trouble when it was him and me in the skate-off.
"But I probably would have had the same fate if it was me against Laura [Hamilton] or me against Chloe [Madeley]. It was all about trying to avoid the skate-off."
Jeff went on to praise Sam's skating skills - suggesting that it was perhaps the judges' fault he was in the bottom two for the first time in the series. "[Sam] has the best skating ability and obviously a lifetime experience of performing," Jeff said.
"It's the judges' influence, he hasn't really skated differently but it's amazing how a few comments can really change the public's perception about how he's doing when in reality he's just carried on doing really well."
