Dancing On Ice contestant Laura Hamilton has compared being on the show to like being a rollercoaster, admitting that she and partner Colin Ratushniak just take it a week at a time. The kids telly presenter has found herself in the bottom two twice so far, despite regularly topped the leader board.
Last weekend Laura scored an outstanding 28.5 points out of 30 while judge Jason Gardiner has tipped her to score the first perfect 10 of the series. Chatting to the Daily Record about the show however, Laura explained: "When you’ve been in the bottom two twice, like we have, every week is a bonus because you don’t know how long you’ll be on the show.
“Two weeks ago, we were second on the leader board but ended up in the bottom two. This show is like a rollercoaster – you don’t know what’s going to happen from week to week.
“So you skate like each skate is your last and enjoy yourself while you’re there."
Laura, who is one the favourites to win the show now, added: “We are just trying to think about each week as it comes. It’s actually really strange – there are only a few of us left. It’s gone so quickly.”
