Kerry Katona has become the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the 2011 series of Dancing On Ice, voted off by the judging panel against Jeff Brazier in the skate off. Kerry Katona and Jeff Brazier received the lowest combined public and judges votes after all the remaining celebrities took part in the first ever Ultimate Skills Week.
After the pair skated again it was up to the judging panel to decide which of the pair's time on the show as up. Earlier, the panel had awarded Kerry Katona 9 points out of a possible 30 while Jeff Brazier had scored 16.
Host Phillip Schofield went to Emma first for her view, who voted to save Jeff, saying: "Jeff... brilliant, brilliant performance!”
Next, Robin said: "What turned out to be one of the best performances of the night, I save Jeff.”
With the result already decided, Jason added: “Ultimate Skills Test... Jeff you stepped up, you're the man, you deserved to stay. Kerry... Happy holidays!”
The judges' votes meant Kerry Katona became the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the show with by three votes to none.
Speaking after her exit, a tearful Kerry said: "It's been more than a skating competition... I just want to make a big thank you to the public for voting and given me a second chance. My kids are proud which is important... and I want to thank Daniel [Whiston] who has had so much patience with me!"
Kerry's professional partner Daniel added: "It's been a journey... I've learnt a lot about myself in this. Kerry has been a brilliant friend... Kerry is my winner!"
Dancing On Ice continues next Sunday on ITV1 and the competition goes global, with each performance requiring a certain "international flavour"!
