Dancing On Ice 2011 hopeful Kerry Katona has claimed she needed to visit a pair of counsellors to help her deal with the harsh comments from judge Jason Gardiner. Describing the member of the Ice Panel as an "a***wipe", Kerry said Jason's comments were hurtful and far too often personal as well.
Some of Jason's critiques of Kerry's skating including comparing her moves to having an "internal examination". However last night Kerry said she tries her best to ignore what the judge says, explaining: "I try not to give a s*** about his comments any more because they are so personal and so hurtful.
She added: "Jason is an a***wipe. But I'm still a very fragile person. I take it to heart."
The singer and reality telly star confessed she had turned to Nik and Eva Speakman, the pair of psychologists who helped deal with her drug problem. "I went to see Nik and Eva after the show that week," Kerry told News Of The World, "They really helped. A lot of how I was feeling was because of how Jason put me down on TV.
"At first I thought it was just a bit of pantomime with Jason - but it is as real as it gets. It's so hurtful. He gets far too personal. It can knock you massively.
"It's taking me a while to get my confidence back. All I can say is bring Louie on in Jason's place. He would make his criticism funny, not personal."
Tonight Kerry and professional partner Daniel Whiston will skate to There’s No Business Like Show Business from the musical Annie Get Your Gun.
