Dancing On Ice 2011 presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have compared the programme to a dating show, following the rumours of romance between the ice skating celebrities and their professional partners. Speaking on their daytime show This Morning yesterday, the duo discussed the latest tabloid rumours surrounding the contestants.
Over the past few weeks there have been many claims in the press, with celeb Jeff Brazier at one point taking to Twitter to deny he was 'getting involved' with fellow contestant Kerry Katona. Meanwhile Eastenders actor Sam Attwater is said to have been falling for his Dancing On Ice partner Brianne Delcourt, with the fan favourite saying: “We have a great relationship on the ice and a great relationship off the ice. I don’t want it to end.”
Talking about Sam and Brianne, Holly commented: "It looks like there is chemistry there and they are a remarkably good-looking couple. I'll tell you what - we should be a dating show."
Phillip Schofield joked: "I don't know what it is about ice but it doesn't take them very long, does it? You would think it would chill them down, but it actually heats them up."
Dancing On Ice continues this Sunday on ITV1.
