Steven Arnold has become the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the 2011 series of Dancing On Ice, voted off by the judges against Dominic Cork in the skate off. Steven Arnold and Dominic Cork received the lowest public votes after all the celebrities skated for a second time on this evening's performance show.
After the pair skated again it was up the judges to decide which one of them would be leaving the competition. Earlier, the panel had awarded Steven Arnold 7 points out of a possible 30 while Dominic Cork had scored 11.5.
Making his decision, Jason said: "Shame it's not a double eviction but... I'm going to save Dominic."
Emma Bunton voted to save Dominic meaning Steven Arnold's time on the ice was up, nonetheless head judge Robin Cousins revealed he would've also saved Dominic.
Speaking after her exit, Steven Arnold said: "Do you know what? I'm not a natural skater but I put my heart and soul into it and I just want to say thank you to [my skating partner] Nina."
Professional skater Nina Ulanova added: "Steven is a really great person and I've been so glad to work with him."
Dancing On Ice continues next Sunday with another as yet unrevealed twist in store!
