'Daybreak' presenter Christine Bleakley is reportedly being lined up to replace Holly Willoughby on the Dancing On Ice results shows when Holly leaves the show on maternity leave. According to Star magazine, ITV are also preparing Bleakley to take over Holly's role on This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield.
A show source told the glossy magazine: "When Holly becomes too pregnant to host both shows, the 31-year-old is set to present the second half of the Sunday night show, plus do her usual four days a week on This Morning."
The source continued: "When Christine signed up to ITV, the bosses told her they had plans to make her a massive star on the channel outside of presenting Daybreak.
"And this is just the start of it. They want her to be able to turn her hand to lots of shows, and something like Dancing On Ice is perfect for her. She has plenty of experience doing live TV."
However Christine Bleakley's new job could prove awkward, with her boyfriend Frank Lampard being the ex of Dancing On Ice contestant Elen Rivas. The source warned: "Christine thinks they have to be civil for Frank's kids. So it should be the same on this job. She wouldn't want to get into a public slanging match.
Dancing On Ice 2011 continues on ITV1 this Sunday at 6:35PM.
