Reality telly star Kerrry Katona has revealed she has been feeling over the moon after surviving the first elimination on Dancing On Ice at the weekend. On Sunday, Nadia Sawalha and Angela Rippon became the first to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice 2011 while Kerry and 5 others continued in the competition.
This week the remaining 8 celebrity skaters who have yet to take the ice will perform for the first time, with once again two stars facing the axe. After being saved by the public on Sunday, Kerry told The Sun: "It was like getting into the Olympics. I really thought I was gone, I can't believe it. I was made up."
"[My children] were saying, 'Mum, I'm so proud of you.' That's all I wanted. I can't believe I kept it together."
The former Atomic Kitten also admitted she hoped she could inspire others, saying: "If Kerry Katona can get off kebabs, get off her drugs, get off her bum - if I can do it, anyone can do it."
