This month saw the line up of celebs confirmed for what will be the final DOI tour ever.
They are Pop Idol’s Gareth Gates, Hear’Say’s Suzanne Shaw, actress Bonnie Langford, rugby hunk Kyran Bracken and comedian Joe Pasquale.
Finalists Beth Tweddle., Hayley Tamaddon and of course Dancing On Ice all stars winner Ray will join them on the bill.
Speaking with his pro partner Maria Filippov, Ray said after his win at the weekend: "We've got the tour and we're going to carry on skating, I' love it and I'm so passionate about it."
Meanwhile Ray vowed to keep on skating to help stay fit, revealing: “The cardio burn is unbelievable, it’s intense and despite it being for a short amount of time I’m dripping.”
On the tour the celebs will all be joined by DOI coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Jayne and Chris said: “This year will be the 30th anniversary of Bolero and our Olympic Gold medal in Sarajevo, so for us, it seemed a fitting time to say goodbye to Dancing on Ice. We wanted to go out on a high!
“But, we will not be retiring or hanging up our skates just yet. We are delighted to announce the last ever Dancing on Ice UK arena tour, starting in March 2014. We can’t wait to be back on the road and we’re already planning the show. It will be the biggest and best tour we’ve done to date and there will be some great surprises for the audiences across the country – we hope you will come and see us.”
