Dancing On Ice 2014: Beth Tweddle closes in as favourite to win

Beth Tweddle (Dancing On Ice 2014)

The competition to be crowned Dancing On Ice 2014 winner has been heating up after the weekend's surprise skate off.

In Sunday night's Dancing On Ice 2014 results, Ray and Sam Atwatter landed in the bottom two with Sam finally going home after his fifth skate off.

Earlier in the evening Sam had landed bottom of the judges' scoreboard while Ray had struggled with a flying routine, leaving him off the top of the leaderboard for the first time ever.

While Ray stayed in the competition the X Factor singer is no longer as strong as a favourite to win as he was before the semi-final show.

Beth Tweddle has seen her odds slashed after she once again sailed through with huge support from the public vote despite lower marks from the judges, suggesting she close to topping the viewer poll.

Looking ahead to the final - where only viewer votes will count - and Ray is now the 1/3 favourite, out from 1/20 while Hayley Tamaddon is the tipped to finish the all star run in second spot.

With TellyMix readers and Ray is the most popular contestant going into the weekend's last live show with close to 50% of the vote.

It's close between Beth and Hayley for second spot with currently just 5% between the girls.
