The X Factor star has admitted to struggling with this week's flying twist and even getting sick as he hangs from the singing in rehearsals for his routine.
Only last year Gareth Thomas was ruled out of the show and had to QUIT in the semi-final due to suffering severe motion sickness during his flying routine.
Ray explained: “Our routine is really pretty, it is totally different to what we normally do. We have changed a couple of bits at the last minute, so I am excited to do it. It shows off a completely new side to us. It is very dainty.”
However he went on to reveal: “The flying for me this time around has completely changed.
"I think your body does change anyway naturally, but I have had to take tablets and stuff because I was getting really ill.”
Bookies have made Ray the 1/16 odds on favourite to win so not making the final would be a huge shock but Ray insisted he could be vulnerable.
“I am really enjoying the flying this time around but it does literally drain my energy. It totally drains me," he told the ITV website. “You are completely under the elements of the wires above you. You have no control over them whatsoever, you have to just let it be. That’s the scary thing.”
Dancing On Ice 2014 airs tonight from 6:15PM on ITV.
