Dancing On Ice 2014 results: Latest exit watched by 4.5 million


The solo skates brought in the viewers to Dancing On Ice 2014 last night.

While last weekend's live show was a series low - with fewer than 5 million viewers tuning in - this week saw the ratings climb by over 700,000 viewers.

An average of 5.4 million watched the latest performance show as the remaining five celebrity contestants battled for a spot in the semi finals.

Including those on watched on ITV+1, the figures rise to 5.6 million, the highest figure for the show in some weeks but still well down on the highs it once achieved.

And in further good news for ITV bosses the results show is also seeing a rise in viewers after falling below the 4 million mark last Sunday night.

On the Dancing On Ice 2014 results last night another celebrity was eliminated with 4.5 million watching, climbing to 4.7 million with those who caught up later on ITV+1.

Elsewhere and over on ITV2, The Only Way Is Essex returned for its new series - the eleventh overall - with just under 1 million viewers tuning in.

The latest episode of Dancing On ice airs next Sunday night on ITV.
