Dancing On Ice 2014 results: Ratings fall to 5 million

The ratings for Dancing On Ice 2014 were down again for last night's results.

The latest live episode hit a new series low, following last week's previous low of 5.2 million viewers.

A further 200,000 lost interest in the current all star series with just 5 million tuning in for the latest performance show.

It's despite the return of the team twist, which saw the Boys face off against the Girls in a team skate-off.

But the show did face some tougher competition this week, somewhat notably from the Winter Olympics with the Ice Skating discipline airing on BBC2.

Yesterday evening did see a small boost for the second show however, which will no doubt be some good news for ITV.

4.3 million viewers tune in to see who was voted off Dancing On Ice 2014, up on last week's low of 4 million.

Elsewhere on the telly last night and the latest episode of Top Gear topped the BAFTAs, with 5.5 million to 4.6 million.

The latest episode of Dancing On Ice airs next Sunday night on ITV.
