Dancing On Ice 2014 judge Jason Gardiner has confessed he's over the moon with yesterday evening's results.
In the Dancing On Ice 2014 results last night Todd Carty got the axe after being in the bottom two skate off with Zaraah Abrahams.
And it was a result that left Jason the happiest been this year having awarded Todd just 1.5 points for his routine.
"I like to thank the voting public for putting Todd Carty into the Skate Off," Jason wrote on his Facebook page this morning. "Todd is a very nice chap who, without labouring the point, didn't deserve to remain in the competition on merit.
"He may have had one of the most memorable moments when he went careening down the tunnel but that was a REAL mishap which was GENUINELY funny.
"His "solo mio" skate proved beyond any doubt that to keep him in the competition would be a travesty and detriment to those with skill and talent."
Meanwhile, Jason heaped praise on favourite Ray Quinn who last night had 35.5 points from the panel.
Jason said of the The X Factor star, who won his original series back in 2009: "Ray Quinn proved that he isn't going to rest on his laurels by smashing it with his Blurred Lines routine.
"What Ray does that sets him apart is that he never looks like he is on ice! He's got the moves, the attitude, the charisma, the talent and technique to come out and get the crowd and judges going. He hasn't delivered a pitch perfect routine yet but I can feel it's coming."
The usually critical ice panelist also revealed a soft spot for Bonnie Langford, adding: "I'm so glad the public voted Bonnie Langford through. She works incredibly hard and as the eldest contestant left in the comp she defies and delights with what she can do with her body."
