Dancing On Ice 2014 star Hayley Tamaddon has revealed an injury has forced her out of training this week.
The Emmerdale actress tore a muscle in her leg this week, almost ending her quest to be crowned the Dancing On Ice champion of champions.
“I suffered a pretty bad leg injury that has knocked my confidence a little bit," she revealed. “It just came out of nowhere. I did a lift and it just hurt when I came down.
“I burst into tears and thought I was out. I was like, ‘Oh, what if? What if?’”
Hayley, who won the series back in 2010, told The Sun newspaper that she's lost four days worth of training this week after the fall.
“We’ve lost four days training but I don’t feel too far behind. I caught up today on my routine and everything. I’ll put in 110 per cent and do my best. I’ve got to get used to the injuries," the soap star vowed. “I’m so in love with skating I just don’t want it to stop.”
Hayley Tamaddon is reunited with her original series 5 pro skater Daniel Whiston for this year's All Star show and admitted that there was more pressure on the pair this time around to wow both the judges and viewers.
She said: “It’s tough competition this time round — the pressure is on a bit more so there are more injuries. You see people doing amazing tricks and feel like, ‘Oh, no! I can’t do that’.”
