Dancing On Ice host Christine Bleakley has been making as much as £400 a MINUTE she's on air.
But it's not because she's so in demand, rather it's because ITV can't find anything else to do with her.
Christine signed a three-year 'golden handcuffs' deal with the channel in 2010 said to be worth £4 million.
However her main role on Daybreak lasted little more than a year and attempts to launch new shows - such as That Dog Can Dance - flopped.
It meant that with just 19 appearances on our tellys in the year ending February 2013, Christine earned an average of more than £24,000 per show.
Fortunately for ITV, Christine's deal expired last summer leading to reports that she was set to take a huge pay cut for this year's final series of Dancing On Ice, down to £12,000 a show.
Still, nothing to be sniffed at.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper today: “Christine’s not as popular as she once was, but she still commands mind-boggling amounts of money.
“She’s barely been on TV in the past year but she’s still up there with the top earners.”
Christine’s spokesman declined to comment to the paper.
