Dancing On Ice 2014 contestant Todd Carty has confessed he's not expecting to last long on the ice.
The All Stars series kicked off last Sunday night on ITV, but Todd will skate for the first time this weekend.
He admitted: "Getting on the ice is always going to be daunting for me, I'm afraid. That's life. But I'll give it another go."
The soap star went on: "It was nice to be asked back for the last one. I think if I'd said no, I'd be watching on Sunday night going, 'Oh, I fancied a bit more of that'. I'm just hoping I won't be as nervous this time around.
"I'll try to be a bit more relaxed, which is very easy to say until the voiceover announces, 'Ladies and gentlemen, Todd and Alex', and then your heart goes like a machine gun. Your professional partner says, 'Whatever you do, bend your legs'. I can do it now I'm here because we're on the terra firma, but come the night... We'll see."
Speaking to DigitalSpy, Todd confessed: "I don't think I do have anything to prove, really. Because I can't. My ability is very limited. I've learned to stop which is quite handy - and that's without the assistance of my partner. My stopping might be my key thing in this."
He added: "I don't think I'll get very far in the competition. Again, it's up to the Great British public - what they want, what they fancy. Something could happen. Maybe the skating gods could wave a magic wand and I could become brilliant. I kind of doubt it, but if they did it would be very nice."
Joining Todd on the ice this weekend will be Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw, soap actress Zaraah Abrahams, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle, footballer David Seaman, Eastenders’ star Attwater and The Bill’s Gary Lucy.
