Dancing On ice hunk Kyran Bracken has admitted to clashing with show bosses.
The rugby star confessed that he wasn't happy about being branded the show's competitive skater by bosses ahead of tonight's first live show.
Kyran is one of fourteen past contestants returning for this year's all-star series and explained: “I don’t think I’m the most competitive. It’s really starting to annoy me.
“It’s coming from ITV. I’ve actually just spoken to someone as they are setting me up for a fall.
“We all want to do our best and win, so I’m really p****ed off. They want to make people out to be whatever, but anyway I’m not very happy. Would you be?”
This year Kyran will skate with Nina Ulanova – Kyran previously skated with Melanie Lambert when he won in series 2m, while Nina’s last partner was Matthew Wolfenden in series 7.
Speaking ahead of this evening's show, Kyran admitted that sports stars like himself find it tough to get the performance side of the routines right.
“We like the pressure, we both love it and have the bug," Kyran said of himself and rival Beth Tweddle. “But having said that we find it really hard to get into that performance side which the judges will pick up on.
“We aren’t used to performing all the time like everyone else.
“Yes I’ve skated for a long time and Beth has just won and is fresh but it doesn’t make us favourite.”
Dancing On Ice 2014 starts tonight at 6:15PM on ITV.
