There's just over a week to go until Dancing On Ice 2014 kicks off and the all star cast are getting competitive.
Fourteen celebs, including seven former winners, will be going head to head in the final series next month.
The group have been in training and are already trying out some of the show's most daring moves, such as the Headbanger, to perform in the live shows.
“It’s clear this lot will be the most competitive bunch we’ve had," an insider said this week. “Many have won before and are not ready to lose.
"It means they’re doing moves now that fans wouldn’t usually see until later in the series.
"There’ll be war on the ice as they try to impress judges and mentors Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.”
But as well as the serious, the all star cast includes 'characters' of the ice such as Todd Carty and Joe Pasquale, and the latter has been finding his second time on the ice tougher than most.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: “He fell over a few times during his routine and he knows that he’s never going to be able to compete with the champions. He just wants to put a smile on people’s faces.”
Meanwhile, bookies have installed X Factor's Ray Quinn as the favourite to win the series.
The singer topped the judges' scoreboard every week back in 2009 before going on to win with his pro partner Maria Filippov.
The pair will be reunited for this year's show when it kicks off next Sunday night on ITV.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "As far as we're concerned Ray's got the X Factor to be crowned Dancing On Ice's champion of champions."
Dancing On Ice starts on January 5 on ITV.
