Dancing On Ice 2014 star Gary Lucy has put Christmas on hold in order to focus on his training.
The Eastenders star is one of fourteen celebrities returning to the ice for next month's All Stars special.
But his filming commitments on the BBC One soap have left him with little time to rehearse ahead of the first live show in just over one weeks' time.
According to The Sun newspaper, former The Bill actor Gary has opted to cut back on the Christmas celebrations in order to spend more time on the ice rink.
He said: “I had loads of plans for Christmas.
"I absolutely love Christmas shopping and I’m a big kid myself going into Hamleys, but I’ve had to do a lot of it online this year. I do feel a bit cheated.”
For this series, Gary will be skating with Katie Stainsby, a different partner then when he first appeared on the series in 2010, then performing with Maria Filippov.
While many celebs use shows like Dancing On Ice to help them get fit and lose weight, Gary revealed he's been eating as much grub as he can to keep his muscles!
He said: “I don’t want to look like a 12-year-old boy – I’m 32.”
Dancing On Ice 2014 starts on January 5 on ITV.
