The Dancing On Ice 2014 lineup will contain several past winners, it's been revealed.
ITV announced earlier this month that the final series in January is set to be a special one, with a line up of past skating stars set to return to the rink.
Show host Phillip Schofield teased: “Viewers are in for an absolute treat this year.
“I’m over the moon we’ll be welcoming back to the ice some of our very best skaters and characters from over the years.”
DOI coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher this week teased the all star cast, with Christopher saying: “I think it’s going to be the best series [yet].
“We are having an all-star cast and have got several of the past winners that will be competing head to head.
“From a competition point of view, it’s all these past winners coming back to find out, ultimately, who is the best skater.”
Jayne added: “We’ve got an amazing cast, we’ve got lots of our finalists and champions so there’s going to be a lot of competitiveness within the ranks.”
Meanwhile, the pair refused to rule out a possible return for the show later in the future despite ITV confirming the series would be its last.
“You never know," the pair told What's On TV about a possible comeback. “ITV rested Saturday Night Takeaway so it might come back.
“A great person says ‘never say never’.”
Dancing On Ice 2014 will air in the New Year on ITV.
