Dancing On Ice 2014 could be an all stars specia, it's been claimed today.
Show coaches Torvill and Dean confirmed earlier this year that January's upcoming series would be the last to air on ITV, but it looks like it will go out with a bang.
Rather than a normal series, next year's show could see an all star cast of fan and judges' favourites from the past seven years.
They could include X Factor's Ray Quinn, soap actor Todd Carty, Corrie's Chris Fountain, gymnast Beth Tweddle, Vanilla Ice and Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter.
“Torvill and Dean said they wanted the final series to be the best, so what better way to treat fans than by bringing back some of their favourites?" a source said this week.
The supposed insider told The Sun newspaper: “It won’t just be people who’ve won. The idea is to bring people back who made an impression — whether they made a decent fist of it or not.
“Some have gone on to be quite good skaters, so it will be interesting to see if they have what it takes to win.”
The tabloid reports that five figure offers are being made to get past skating stars back on the ice for the big send off, which will be similar to Channel 4's Ultimate Big Brother.
