Dancing On Ice 2013 ratings rebound after dramatic skate off

Dancing On Ice 2013′s ratings rebounded slightly last night, with a dramatic skate off.

Yesterday evening saw Gareth bow out in the latest Dancing On Ice 2013 results show.

But it wasn't a normal exit, with Gareth being forced to withdraw due to illness, having been unable to complete his second skate of perform in the skate off when he was voted into the bottom two.

An average of 6.7 million viewers tuned in to last night’s latest performance show, up almost 500,000 viewers on the previous week.

But despite the big numbers for the main show, and the drama of the skate off, fewer than 5 million returned 45 minutes later for the results.

For the second week runnign, just 4.9 million viewers bothered to tune in to see which three celebs would be making it through to the grand next weekend.

Meanwhile, The Only Way Is Essex continued its eighth on ITV2 at 10PM with 800,000 viewers, while Sky1's latest Got To Dance live show had fewer than 700,000 watching from 6PM.
