Gareth Thomas is said to be disappointed after having to withdraw from Dancing On Ice 2013.
The rugby hunk got the axe in tonight's Dancing On Ice 2013 results after falling ill.
Gareth was unable to complete his second routine of the night and after falling into the bottom two in the results, was unable to perform in the skate off.
As a result, he was forced to withdraw from the competition.
His pro partner Robin said: “Gareth is resting right now, he is a little disappointed.”
Gareth didn't re-appear for the results, with Robin continuing: “I was giving him the recap of our skate, he was a little bit out of it actually.
"The sportsman that he is, he wanted me to pass on thank yous to everybody, cast, crew, Jayne, Chris, all the coaches and judges and of course all the fans. Thank you.”
DOI coach Christopher Dean added on tonight's live show: “This is a first and not a situation that we really want to ever encounter.
"He’s a little upset, I know he’s going to be a lot upset. Having got to know Gareth he is such a competitor and a strong sportsman. He is going to be really gutted about this so our thoughts are with him that's for sure.”
Next weekend’s seventh live show will see the remaining three skaters – Matt Lapinskas, Luke Campbell and Beth Tweddle – compete in the final
