Dancing On Ice 2013 ratings: Viewing figures hit new low (again)

Dancing On Ice 2013's ratings crashed again last night, declining for the third time in as many weeks.

An average of 6.2 million viewers tuned in to last night's latest performance show, down 300,000 viewers on last week.

It means that yesterday evening's show is now the new holder of 'Dancing On Ice's least watched episode' title.

In the eight years of the series to air on ITV, ratings have declined from a high of almost 12 million.

Corrie star Samia Ghadie got the axe in last night's Dancing On Ice 2013 results after being voted into the bottom two for a second time in two weeks.

Samia was in the bottom two with Luke Campbell, but the judges didn't save her as they voted unanimously to keep Luke.

The skate off instalment also lost viewers on last week and dipped below the 5 million mark for the first time ever.

Just 4.9 million viewers bothered to tune in to see which four celebs would be making it through to the semi-finals next weekend.

Meanwhile, over a million watched the return of The Only Way Is Essex on ITV2 at 10PM. The series opener of the eighth run peaked with 1.1 million viewers.

Next weekend’s seventh live show will see the remaining four skaters – Matt Lapinskas, Luke Campbell, Garteh Thomas and Beth Tweddle – compete in the semi-finals, where they'll be flying!
