Dancing On Ice 2013 results: Matt Lapinskas tops leaderboard with highest score yet

Matt Lapinskas (Dancing On Ice 2013)

Matt Lapinskas won tonight's Dancing On Ice 2013 props challenge, topping the leaderboard once again.

This evening saw all five of the reaming celebrity skaters performing with an added prop in their routine as they battled to make the semi finals.

Beth Tweddle and pro partner Dan Whiston were first out with a hula hoop in her routine, cart wheeling around the ice to a Lady Gaga number, achieving a score of 30. However Robin Cousins critiqued: "I felt it was slightly predictable, it felt a little clean and safe, very safe," and Jason Gardiner claimed Beth's performance "lacked personality throughout."

Math Lapinskas had three hats for his props and didn't drop one, as he managed to better his score from last week to once again get the highest marks so far. With four nines from each of the judges, Ashley Roberts gushed: "It was funky, fun and fabulous. It was just awesome!"

Luke Campbell was next with a skipping rope and scored his best marks of the series, with Robin declaring: "Your best performance to date!"

Samia Ghadie and pro partner Sylvain Longchambon used a chair as their prop and also scored their highest marks of the show so far, with Jason saying: "You upped your game in your performance and skating, you were trying very hard to be immersed into the prop."

Gareth Thomas then took to the ice to close the show with his rugby ball, become the latest of the celebs to score their highest marks of the series. Robin quipped: "I've never known a rugby ball to be elegant until you performed that tonight."
