The Dancing On Ice 2013 ratings concluded to fall last night, hitting a new low.
The show is currently getting its worst viewing figures yet, having lost viewers every week from the launch at the start of January, which was itself the least watched opener ever.
Last night's latest performance episode, which saw the seven remaining celebs skating romantic routines for 'Love week' was down again.
An average audience of 6.5 million viewers tuned in to the episode, down around 200,000 viewers week on week, making it the show's least watched instalment ever.
The results show interested even fewer viewers, with less than 6 million watching as Keith Chegwin went head to head with Joe Pasquale in the skate off.
The numbers are sure to worry bosses after reports at the weekend suggesting the format could be axed.
A source told the Daily Mirror yesterday: :The first final with 13 million viewers was an incredible achievement and ended up being the third-highest rated show of 2006,” the source told the Daily Mirror. “Those kinds of figures were maintained for the next few years and DoI became one of ITV’s flagship programmes.
“Even when viewing figures started to slip a little bit, there was no sense of panic but last year was a cause for concern. The first show launched with a respectable 8.4 million, but lost two million viewers halfway through the series."
Next week will see the six remaining stars take part in a special team challenge.
Dancing On Ice continues Sunday night on ITV.
