Dancing On Ice 2013: Jason Gardiner says Matt Lapinskas should've gone

Jason Gardiner (Dancing On Ice 2013)

Dancing On Ice 2013 judge Jason Gardiner reckons that Matt Lapinskas should've been voted out of the show at the weekend.

Sunday night saw Shayne Ward bow out in the latest Dancing On Ice 2013 results show.

The X Factor singer was in the bottom two for the first time after his latest skate, having to perform against Matt in the skate off.

It was a shock bottom two result that left the judges almost speechless after both boys wowed earlier in the night.

And things went from bad to worse for Matt after he took a tumble during his save me skate.

The Eastender was in tears over the mistake, but Karen Barber, Robin Cousins and Ashley Roberts all saved him in the skate off, with Karen saying: "Mistakes happened but then they were managed."

However Jason - and some fans - aren't happy, claiming that the judges were unfair after they axed Pamela Anderson for falling in the first results show of the series.

“DOI was a joke. Pamela went home following a fall. Why didn’t Matt? He fell and was out of time," one fan wrote online.

Another added: “#doi is fixed. Matt fell, Shayne didn’t so Matt should have gone.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror today, Jason hit out at his fellow judges for saving Matt.

He said: "In the skate-off mistakes should count. We got rid of Pammy and it should be no different.

“Stick to the rules."
