Dancing On Ice 2013 favourite Matt Lapinskas has been getting secret ballet lessons to help boost his chances.
The Eastenders actor has already wowed the judges, having topped the leaderboard for the past two weeks.
But he wants more and has been taking some extra dance lessons ahead of tonight's latest show in a bid to impress Jason Gardiner.
Matt revealed: “Because of my street-dancing background my extensions are quite jerky but now I’ve worked on my lines, posture and breathing.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with The Sun, Matt opened up about how he was bullied at school over his choice of career.
He said: "I had a lot of friends but, because I was into drama, singing and dancing, my mates called me a ‘gay boy’ and said, ‘Stop being a faggot!’ and, ‘Why don’t you prance away!’
“These were my friends — but to have them say that was hurtful.”
Despite the fame that comes with being on one of the UK's biggest soaps, Matt admitted that there's another side that not many celebs talk about.
He continued: “Still when I walk down the street today a group of lads go, ‘Oi there’s that **** from EastEnders’ and I think, ‘When did I become a ****?’ They’ve never met me before, they don’t know me but that’s how they are. But I’ve grown up now and I’ve learned to take it on the chin.
“When you’re young, it affects you but I never let it stop me wanting to become an actor. But it shouldn’t happen in schools and we’re trying to stamp it out.”
Dancing on Ice 2013 airs on Sunday at 6.15pm on ITV.
