Dancing On Ice 2013's Phillip Schofield has jumped to the defence of co-host Christine Bleakley over haters.
Flop Daybreak presenter Christine started fronting the ITV series last year, replacing Holly Willoughby alongside Phillip.
But viewers didn’t take too kindly to the dreary presenting style and Christine came under attack from online haters.
According to Star magazine, the ex-One show presenter has already had enough of more of the same this year and can’t wait for the show to end.
One source claimed: “Christine takes her name-calling to heart. Last year she understood the criticism; Holly had done such a good job."
However co host Phil has jumped to the defence of Christine, saying the former breakfast host is doing a "brilliant job."
Speaking at the National Television Awards, where he picked up a gong with his ex DOI co-host Holly, Phil said: "I think the criticism is less and less now. She’s done such a brilliant job, and she’s a wonderful co-host. I love working with her.
"There will always be a few crazies on Twitter, and also people who will be big Holly fans – which is fine."
And he added: "Holly and Christine see each other socially as they don’t live far apart. They’re great mates, actually, there are no issues at all.”
